After the plane trip, a drink to relax is a must! What better place for that than the beautiful beach of Lazzaretto?
Start your holiday as soon as you leave the airport, with sunshine, sea, sand drinks and fun! After a drink at the beach you will be taken to the house in the countryside so that you can once again relax, take a shower and enjoy a stroll in the surroundings. Dinner will be a main dish of either ravioli, potato gnocchi or Paccheri seasoned with homemade tomato sauce directly from our kitchen garden, and a side dish of salad and preserves. Coffee and digestifs under the veranda bring the evening to an end.
The colors of the Caribbean Sea
Breakfast with milk, coffee, tea, toast, sweet-cakes and biscuits (or your preferred food).
Enjoy a day in paradise, in the Caribbean-like beach of Stintino La Pelosa. Blue, crystal clear water, fine-grained sand and lots of fun. Lunch is served on the beach, and includes traditional Sardinian products such as cheese, sausage, crispy bread, wine, and vegetables and fruits from our kitchen garden. After lunch, relax on the beach or enjoy a walk along the shore. At the end of the afternoon we move to the center of Stintino for a stroll in the town and enjoy an ice cream or a drink in the picturesque fishing village. On the way home, we stop by an artisanal bakery where we can taste freshly made seadas with honey, fried ravioli cakes stuffed with fresh ricotta, amaretti and many other fabulous sweets. Returning home there will be a dinner with pasta or appetisers, depending on our preference.
A day in the hidden paradise
After breakfast we hit the road straight away to reach Tinnari. Sturdy shoes are required to make a half hour descent along a path surrounded by Mediterranean shrubs and vegetation. At the end of the path we overlook the charming and hidden beach of Tinnari. Today the main activities will be relaxing on the beach and snorkeling to admire the seabed and its backdrop of unique colors. Lunch can include homemade vegetable sformato and a side dish of cheese and fresh vegetables.
In the evening there will be a chance for a last swim and more snorkeling, along with walks through nearby paths before returning home. On the way back, there will be a stop at village on Isola Rossa for ice cream and drinks. Dinner on the veranda with pasta and a surprise seasoning.
Day with the shepherd
Breakfast and a drive to reach the ancient village of Osilo, where we are greeted by our shepherd friend who will lead us to his shelter. We will witness with our own eyes the ancient art of producing cheese and ricotta. We also take the opportunity to visit the farm and take pictures of the landscaped view and the animals.
After a lavish lunch according to the rustic tradition of Sardinia, the afternoon is dedicated to exploring the ancient Catalan town of Alghero, strolling along the ramparts on the sea, through the streets of the historic center and the souvenir shops. Dinner at a pizzeria.
Breakfast and getting ready for the day on the boat. We can choose to navigate the waters of the bay of Alghero, the island of Asinara or sail the emerald waters of Gallura.
Lunch on board based on pasta with clams (or similar), homemade bread, vegetables and homemade white wine. There are some coves where we can stop for a swim and go snorkeling or simply relax while being gently rocked by the waves.
Upon returning home, the preparations are underway for a barbeque with fish or meat, and grilled eggplants from the kitchen garden according to the Sardinian tradition.
Archaeologists for a day
After breakfast we put on our Indiana Jones hat to go explore the ancient ruins of the nuraghi (which are unique in the world and found only in Sardinia). Nuraghe Santu Antine Nuraghe Palmavera, the prehistoric Necropolis of Anghelu Ruju, the Necropolis of Crucifissu Mannu, the prehistoric ziggurat Altar of Monte d'Accoddi and the ancient Roman ruins of Porto Torres. Packed lunch.
Walk along the seashore. Dinner at the home, with Culurgionis with a homemade tomato sauce.
Breakfast and preparing for departure. Walk on the beach and lunch at home. Then off to the airport. Hugs and kisses and the hope of a swift return.
